New Jersey Divorce Law
What are the grounds for divorce in New Jersey?
Although New Jersey divorce law has both fault and no-fault grounds, in most cases, fault has no bearing on how marital assets will be divided. In rare cases, the court may consider the grounds for divorce as a factor in determining spousal support. Fault is an emotional factor in a divorce, but it has little or no influence on the terms of a final settlement. Some of the common grounds in New Jersey divorce law are:
1.separation for 18 consecutive months ("no fault" -- parties must live in separate residences during this time);
2.extreme cruelty (physical or mental cruelty);
3.adultery;
4.willful desertion for at least one year;
5.habitual drunkeness or addiction for at least 12 consecutive months;
6.institutionalization for mental illness for at least 24 consecutive months;
7.imprisonment for at least 18 consecutive months;
8.deviant sexual conduct.
Annulment
In New Jersey divorce law, the court declares the marriage contract broken; in an annulment, the court says that there never was a marriage. Annulment is more difficult to prove -- and much rarer -- than divorce. To go this route, you will need to speak to an attorney. If you want an annulment for religious reasons, consult with your priest, minister, or rabbi as well.
Documentation
You'll need to provide your divorce lawyer with the following documentation in order to proceed with your dissolution. Start gathering everything together as soon as possible so that you can find out what might be missing and submit any requests for duplicates.
Personal Data
1.Full addresses, social-security numbers, and phone numbers of both parties.
2 Full names, birth dates, addresses, and social-security numbers of all children of the marriage, their school and grade.
3. Information about any prior marriage of either spouse, including a certified copy of the divorce decree.
4.A copy of any domestic contracts (e.g. a prenuptial agreement).
5.Information about any previous legal proceedings between the spouses or involving any of the children.
6.Dates and particulars about any previous separations, attempts at reconciliation, or marriage counseling.
Financial Data
1 Your previous year's income tax return, prior years' returns if available, and any related data from the IRS.
2 Information about your current income (e.g. a current pay slip).
3 A list of substantial assets and liabilities of both spouses.
4 Loan applications, broker's statements, stock certificates, insurance.

Scrumptious Chocolate Muffins, Fudge, and more:
Frostings are sweet often creamy glazes made from sugar with an added liquid such as water or milk, that is often enriched with ingredients such as butter, egg whites or vanilla flavorings and is used to cover or decorate baked goods, such as cakes or cookies. Pastry bags are then used to apply the frosting to cakes, pies, muffins or other baked goods. A high-quality reusable pastry bag is often made from tightly woven nylon, polyester, rubber or waterproofed cotton. Medium quality bags are similar, except they are not so tightly woven and may let some contents seep through the weave or the seams. After use, a reusable bag is washed by hand and hung open to dry. A high-quality bag may last for many years.
Chocolate Whip
- 1 cup of milk,
- 1 1/2 squares of Baker's Chocolate,
- Pinch of salt,
- 2 level tablespoonfuls of cornstarch,
- 2 eggs (yolks),
- 6 level tablespoonfuls of sugar,
- 2 teaspoonfuls of vanilla,
- 5 eggs (whites).
Put milk, chocolate and salt in double-boiler; mix cornstarch in a small quantity of cold milk, and stir into the hot milk when the chocolate has been melted; stir until smooth, then cook twelve minutes. Mix together the yolks of the eggs and sugar, then pour the hot mixture over it; cook again one or two minutes, stirring. When very cold, just before serving, add the vanilla and fold in the stiffly beaten whites of the eggs. Pile lightly in a glass dish and serve with lady fingers. A meringue can be made of the whites of the eggs and sugar, then folded in the chocolate mixture, but it does not stand as long.
